Earth Day 2025 – My Responsibility

Earth Day 2025 – My Responsibility as a Coach, Mentor & Healer (we are all leaders)
Leadership isn’t a title; it’s a choice. And on Earth Day, I’m reminded that the first choice I must make is to care.
As a coach, I invite others to dream boldly, live consciously, and lead from a place of deep connection.
Today, I turn that lens inward.
- Am I acting as a steward or merely as a consumer?
- Am I moving with awareness, or am I just drifting?
- Am I attached enough to care deeply, yet detached enough to act wisely? #DetachedAttachment at all levels.
In a world that often prioritizes doing over being, Earth Day offers a pause — to listen to the silent wisdom of nature and to recommit to living and leading with integrity, responsibility, and heart.
My guru says, “Nature is the best teacher.” After all, Prakriti is the manifestation of Purusha — the dance of creation, existence, and consciousness itself.
What am I doing?
- I am mindful of the trash I generate — at work and at home
- I’ve moved to eco-friendly, chemical-free soaps, detergents, and personal care products
- We use chemical-free, pesticide-free food for our health and to #SaveSoil
- I’m becoming a more responsible consumer, citizen, and human being
- I’m transitioning toward a minimalist lifestyle, with comfort and even luxury, but with conscious choice
- I adopted a vegetarian lifestyle in 1988 for my health and the planet. Now, I’m moving gently toward veganism
- I wash my clothes (using eco-friendly detergent) to conserve water, to stay active, and to clear my mind. Try it — it’s a great mental workout too.
This planet doesn’t need us to “save” it. It simply asks that we remember: We belong to it.
What would you do — for the sake of yourself, your friends and family, and the planet?
